Hi, I am Bhaav-na
Chemical Engineer. Food Scientist. MBA
I believe food is Śakti — a source of power, transformation, and connection.
As a kid, it’s an odd thing to fall in love with manufacturing and production but I did. Maybe it was my “thatha” (grandpa’s) job as a factory worker. Or maybe it was the Maggi instant noodles that did it. There a core memory and a vision was born. I got curious about who designs systems that influence how our food is grown and transformed into products that nourish us.
Since then, I have dedicated 7 years in postgraduate education and 10 years of my work to solving diverse problems along the agri-food value chain.
Medical cannabis was an amazing crash course into all things Startup. Here I found how to take blank walls to production at scale.
Over time, I’ve grown into a community builder, trusted advisor and visible voice in the food and agribusiness. I am grateful for this career and I am only getting started!

2018
I was part of a chemistry team that sent Stemcells to space. I wrote about this experience on LinkedIn.
2020
I was the youngest Director in a publicly traded cannabis company. I helped build operations from 0 to scale. Exited in 2022.
2022
Went back to school (UBC) for my MBA. Completed a sustainability project in Cape Town South Africa.
2025
Finalists of AI film festival. Brand film that screened in Royal Opera Theatre in Mumbai.
